More than a simple Autonomous Mobile Robot, EffiBOT is a solution tailored for each single logistic or industrial project. Various equipment and tools may be mounted on the robot.

Batteries for 8 hours autonomy

EffiBOT and the additional equipment are powered by an on-board battery allowing an average 8 hours autonomy, depending on the actual usage profile. The Lithium-Ion technology offers a large choice of charging strategy.

Multiple options are proposed according to the type of process:

  • A battery to be removed manually for a swap in less than 30 seconds,
  • A fix on-board battery and a regular induction recharging system at each parking location.

A custom structure on the tray

The EffiBOT tray is equipped with an aluminium profile in its perimeter. This is the base for building any type of modular upper-structure: side-panels, shelves, cage, … possibilities are numerous.

A modular solution provide to our customer an easy opportunity to modify the upper-structure whenever the logistics or industrial process is changing.

A deeper customization can also be built by our Technical Department: assembling a specific welded structure directly on the robot chassis, designing a tray with specific dimensions, etc.

A touch-screen for an unlimited man-machine interface

All different destinations from the conveying system are clearly accessible through this man-machine interface. The industrial touch-screen is mounted on the robot upper-structure and is automatically configured during the robot installation.

A custom man-machine interface is also possible, including the display of information from the WMS or ERP.

An autonomous loading/unloading capability

EffiBOT allows parts to be transported autonomously, but the loading & unloading process can also be automated. No handling is required anymore!

A loading/unloading solution by gravity allows an easy and relevant charge and delivery of the complete load.

A motorized loading/unloading solution allows to manage each of the three casings separately for picks and deliveries in different places. A complete & complex management of the process is therefore possible through the Fleet Coordination System, which is connected to the WMS or ERP.

Trailers for a logistic train towing 500 kg

EffiBOT is capable of towing one or more single-track trailers for a total weight of 500 kg. Trailers are specifically designed to follow the EffiBOT driving tracks in order to ensure a safe driving.

As the EffiBOT tray, each trailer from this mini logistics train is fully customizable: length, width, upper-structure, each characteristic is defined according to the project.

We have even created a C-Frame trailer dedicated to be used with manual roll containers already in use in the warehouse.

Fleet Coordination System (EffiFCS), a « control tower » and even more!

The main EffiFCS functionality is to coordinate an EffiBOT fleet. Each robot communicates with the Coordinator through a Wi-Fi networks to receive mission orders and to send status reports. The traffic is then managed according to predefined priority rules.

The status of each robot is also uploaded to allow the supervision of the fleet and the on-going processes.

EffiFCS is also an interface with the outer world

  • It receives signals from remote calling button and assign to a free EffiBOT the mission to drive to the require destination,
  • It is connected to the ERP or WMS via a REST API to retrieve a multiple destination conveying mission and to assign it to a free EffiBOT,
  • It is connected to an industrial machine by MOD-Bus to manage the EffiBOT arrival and departure according to the actual production rate,
  • It is connected to the traffic light system, controlled through its built-in IN/OUT ports, in order to warn of an imminent EffiBOT arrival,
  • Etc.
